KLAC Policies and Procedures

In line with our Constitution, Ku-ring-gai Little Athletics Centre (KLAC) is committed to aligning with all policies and guidelines set forth by Little Athletics NSW (LANSW). We strive to ensure our operations, programs, and conduct adhere to the highest standards of safety, integrity, and professionalism as outlined in their comprehensive policies.

KLAC is dedicated to maintaining a safe, respectful, and compliant environment for all members in accordance with LANSW policies, procedures and relevant legislation that can be found on the LANSW Information Hub HERE

Privacy Policy

KLAC respects and protects the privacy of our members in accordance with the LANSW Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used, and safeguarded. We collect personal data solely for the purpose of delivering safe and effective programs. Member information is securely managed and used only for club-related purposes.

The full Privacy Policy is available HERE

Member Protection Policy

KLAC is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children and young people involved in our programs. In line with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012 and the Child Protection (Working with Children) Regulation 2013, all Committee members, Age Managers, and Coaches over 18 are required to hold a current and valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).

We verify these checks through the NSW Office of Children’s Guardian, and further information on this process is available at https://ocg.nsw.gov.au.

Parents are exempt when spectating or assisting their children behind the scenes, including at association carnivals. Additionally, we ensure that all officials at LANSW events, such as Zone and Region Championships, have current WWCCs as required by LANSW policies.
