Little Athletics’ success is based entirely on unpaid assistance from parents and other helpers. Parent or other family help is mandatory.
We need 60 – 70 volunteers each Saturday morning to help run our program. Duties include equipment set up, timing & recording, measuring throws and jumps, results data input, First Aid, and helping with the Canteen and BBQ. All parents are rostered to help at least every 2 weeks. This roster will be advised regularly by email and in our weekly newsletters. On rostered days, parent helpers report to the Parent Duty Table at 8:15am to sign on and be allocated to a position. They are expected to remain until the conclusion of the events, and to help put away the equipment.

I understand that the Centre may contact me if I do not register for and perform duties during the season. I further understand that my child’s/children’s name/s may appear on the Centre’s web site, in the press and other similar public areas with their results, team selection or awards.
